Nothing appear on start up

when i start my computer all i can c is my background decktop and my mouse
arrow

and i can't c the desktop icon , start menu and Vista sidebar.

i need to click on Ctrl + Alt + Del then i write explorer.exe under file in
the task manager to make everything appear

i may have some problem in the start up files

so any one can help ?

System Restore to a time before the problem started.

Try doing this:

Boot your system using the Windows Vista DVD.
At the language screen select Next.
At the next screen select Repair Your System.
Write the changes.
Reboot the system.

i select repair my computer then i click next then i click repair start up
files

a msg appear telling me that windows didn't find any problem in my start up
files

Run sfc /scannow from the command prompt.

Watch your hard disk light. If it is flashing Vista is off somewhere
doing something it considers important.

Your not agreeing that it is important will NOT influence Vista in the
slightest.

Bob what u want me to do in command

whats sfc /scannow

u mean i write it there

.....................................

frj111 i didn't understand what do u mean exactly

the problem is from my start up file becouse when i write explorer.exe
everything show up

Type sfc /scannow at the command prompt then press enter.

when i open the Command prompt it says " the command prompt has been disabled
by your administrator "

i tried to search in google how to enable it but i couldn't enable it

any idea how can i enable it ?
