Nothing comes up at the window

Ok, ive been having this problem for a while now, but have jsut been ignoring
it. Its easily been a year now since this has been happening. Whenever i
try to automatically update windows it goes to the window and says its
scanning my computer and everything and to click yes. But nothing comes up,
at the bottom of the window it just says "done" but nothing has happened. I
know my windows isnt up to date cause its been a LONG time since its worked.
Please help me cause i know this is bad for my computer.

you need. or are missing.

Check your assumption by opening the page with View Source.
One possibility is that your Security settings are blocking whatever
implementation is being used for redirects. You could either use
the source as a guide to simulate your own redirects or change
your security settings to prevent that problem from happening.

The simplest solution would be to use Default Level security settings
assuming that those have not been modified in the registry.

An alternative would be to put the URL into the Trusted sites list
so that it gets (by default) settings from an even lower security level.

Register Jscript.dll
1.. Click Start.
2.. Choose Run.
3.. In the Run box, type regsvr32 jscript.dll.
4.. Click OK.
