Can some tell me how to get rid of the Caps Lock, Scroll Lock, & Numbers Lock
off of the Notification area?

It's not there by default. Are you using a laptop? It is most probably
added by some keyboard software from your laptop manufacturer.

Right-click the icons and follow the prompts.

No it is not a laptop. Also I have all kinds of problems.....lol. Is there
anyway to completely remove and reinstall windows vista? Or if I buy the
upgraded version will it use any of the exsiting features from the home basic
version?

I really don't know that much about the 'Anytime Upgrade', so I suggest you
make a new post asking people about this.

Just fixed this on a customer's machine. It is a program that i
installed by default in the initial factory setup from HP. Go t
Control Panel, then Programs and Features. It will be listed as
program that can be uninstalled

It is not possible to right click and delete the icon as previous post
suggest

You cannot right click on those. They have to be removed internally
Here's how ya do it


Start (bottom left corner) --
Control Panel --
Programs --
Programs and Features --

Scroll down till you see a file with this title...

HP ON-SCREEN CAP/ NUM/ SCROLL LOCK INDICATO
Right click that little sucker and delete it! Congo Rats
