This particular error is misleading, in that it indicates a problem
with your hard disk, but this isn't always the case.
Bad memory can result in NTLDR not running correctly. If you have just
recently added additional memory to your computer, remove the additions
to see if that helps. Sometimes just removing and re-seating your memory
(after gently blowing out dust particles) will also help. If your memory
modules are rated at different speeds (never a good idea really), the
slowest sould be in bank 0.
An unstable overclock of either the CPU or memory can also cause this
error, so reset your bios to either failsafe or optimal defaults to try
and clear it up.
