I have a Nvida Gforce 4MX 4000 128MB agp video card. Windows Premium does
not give the option of Aero. I also have 1 Gig RAM.

I would have thought that this card had enough muscle to run Aero settings?
Do you know if this card supports Aero?

Thanks,
mac

The drivers cited in the other response do not support your 4000 series card
(see Products Supported link).
Your older card does not support Direct-X 9 or Open-GL 2, and will not run
Aero.
For NVIDIA, you'll need something in the 6000 series or better with 128 meg
(or, preferably, better) on board video memory.

Acccording to the release notes that release does not support the OP's card.
Also since the OPs card does not have built in DX9 support it can not run
Aero.

The problem its simple. Your Gforce4000 don’t have pixel shader, for this
reason, Aero don’t work.
In conclusion, Gforce 4000 no supports aero.

Try with gforce 5500 or a better card.

Regards
JC
