sorry, your card isnt good enough for vista... please load your wallet in
the cd tray
close the tray and press the send to microsoft button so they can send you
a new driver.

Check your power supply.
The nVidia 7600GS requires a 400+ Watt power supply. If you are are running
the power supply that comes standard with your computer, most likely, it is a
300 Watt.

What will happen when under-powering a Video card will be correct
installation, correct seating, but overall failure of the card. The 7600GS
requires a 400 Watt Power Supply, and 450+ Watt for SLI mode.

My guess is that this would be your issue.

Check your specs and let us know

Hope this helps :-)

Where did you get that idea ? Of course it is more than capapble of
"Vista"--it's a WDDM driver card--if you mean Aero Glass and Flip and Flip
3D and any reg hacks for that type thing--also plenty is documented on
Nvidia's site.

It does a good job with a number of games as well.

A new power supply will run you between 30 & 100 dollars, depending on brand
and size.
