Does Vista recognize the card? It sounds like Vista is using Onboard
graphics.

No there is no onboard adapter on the Asus P5W DH Deluxe board and the system
reports Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX in the device manager as the only display
adapter. It's the one that is stated under display settings also. It has
Generic PnP monitor, but that should not matter.

Damn it, this starts to irritate me!

I would call Asus I've always gotten decent help from Asus. That's really
strange, I have a 8800GTS 320 MB and I get a 5.9 on Ultimate 32bit.

I've got an Asus P5W DH Deluxe as well. I assume that you built
it/installed Vista on it yourself, as it is not the sort of motherboard that
OEM and system builders would have used. Did you install the chipset
drivers when you installed Vista? It should have been the first thing you
installed after Vista.

I am having a similar problem, been searching for a while without finding a
solution.

Asus 8800GTS 640MB ram, WEI reports 1,9 for Graphics and 1,0 for Gaming
graphics. Using the latest signed 6.14.11.7516 drivers (previous drivers did
not help either) on Windows Ultimate 64bit SP1. All other devices has updated
drivers. This is really strange.

I'm about to give up, any help would be appreciated.
