Nvidia G-Force 4 driver update

Why is windows update using such an outdated driver? The driver from Nvidia
is much more compatible and is used on ALL G-force cards. At present I have
that download hidden and refuse to install such an archaic driver. How bout
they update the driver? The one at Nvidia is WHSQL certified.
