Never take drivers from windows update, if REALLY needed get them at the
manufacturers website in this case
www.nvidia.com, if it ain't broke: do not
"FIX" it.
The SATA controller might be recognised after the update as new hardware and
trigger the activation, normally this occurs after X times "changing"
hardware in winxp, how vista responses to this I can not tell.
