nvidia update

hello, i have a problem with an nvidia geforce fx5200 128 mb ram drivers on
windows xp, currently i have driver version 82.12
when i want to upgrade to 93.71, the upgrade completes with no problems and
when i restart my pc the screen goes blank, please help me with this
problem!

Is Windows Update offering you this driver update?

no, i download it from nvidia.com and that happend!!!

Hi There,

PA Bear means your issue is not related to this group windows update since
you took the driver from the right place and not windows update.

The advise is: if it ain't broke": do not fix it.

Newer does not always mean better, however some people wrongfully think a
new driver will make their hardware work 100% better.

So just roll back to the older driver which I am sure off works just fine

Stick with v82.12 or contact Nvidia Support.
