Odd Taskbar Behaviour

My windows vista taskbar is going crazy, it's drawing everything in the
wrong place kind of like shifted to the left.

Also, if I click where the clock would be it opens the calendar window
but it's just blank.

I'd never had this happen before, might it have anything to do with
yesterday's update?

Has anyone seen anything like this?

Thanks.

Could possibly be an update issue from Patch Tuesday, have you tried doing a
System Restore to see if it resolves the problem?

I have the same exact problem, it usually happens when the screen saver is
running for a while and once I start working again, the same bad behavour
kicks in again.

the only remedy i have so far is to shut down by pressing the power button
and restart manually
