Hi, ZAG.
Be SURE you include the Folders.dbx file, along with the several "folders"
(actually files) that contain the messages. Without the index in this
Folders.dbx, WLMail won't be able to import your messages.
Once you have that, just be sure that you've given yourself (your User
account) permission to read that storage device - or Copy from there to a
location on your hard disk that you can access. Then just start WLMail and
use File | Import Messages, choose the OE6 format, and Browse to the folder
that holds all those .dbx files. (In my case, WLMail spent a lot of time
Importing newsgroup messages and creating .nws files. That turned out to be
wasted effort, because WLMail insisted on doing its own downloads from the
news servers. Just let it Import your emails, not your newsgroup posts.)
As you will see, WLMail will convert from a few .dbx files that hold many
messages each, to many .eml files that hold a single message each. If you
have a lot of messages, this can take a long time. After the import, those
..dbx files will not be needed, except for your archives.

I have saved OE6 .dbx folders and .eml extensions to a USB storage device.
My
question is: How do I open .eml EMAIL, and restore the .dbx folders to view
saved messages?
