OE 6 shutting down

Hi has anyone come accross this one,

I open Outlook Express v6 and it almost instantly shuts itself down again.
This has just started happening yesterday, I have recently removed the news
server setting, in favour of a proper news reader. Sounds a bit like a virus
to me. but AVG is bang up to date as is my Windows XP updates. I have the
Windows firewall up.

Any Help or ideas would be appreciated

Hi - this is a group for Windows Update issues. Try posting your question in
an Outlook Express group (or a Windows XP group) or crosspost (not
multipost) to both.

The OE groups are hard to find - here's the one for OE6.

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlooke xpress

Like Lawrence said. Go to the OE group. Since you are posting via CDO
copy\paste the following link into your IE Browser address bar and hit
enter. It will take you there directly.
