OE 6 Unable to E-mail "Group Contacts"

OE & WinXP..I am able to send e-mail to only individual addresses but am NOT
able to send to 'group contacts' in my address book which is necessary. Any
suggestions how to correct? I've deleted & re-entered 80 addresses. Thanx

To reduce spam, many ISPs limit the number of addresses in
any one email. Contact your ISP.

I contacted Charter Cable & was informed 100 group contacts are allowed. When
going to OE6 'help', I see no limitation number with their group contacts.
On the average, I communicate with 60-80 Association members, & necessary
that everyone sees who has been contacted. Any other suggestions.....could
Internet Explorer 6 be limiting me in some way with OE? Thanx in
advance........

Programs that monitor email, such as anti-virus or spam
blockers, may be controlling. With AVAST anti-virus I get a
warning if I am sending a large number of emails at one
time. as an alert to a possible hijacking. But I'm not sure
just what is happening on your system.

Are you putting the Group Name in BCC? Are you putting your address in TO?

I'm putting Board (group)...10 max... in the TO: I'm putting Association
Members (group) ...60 max... in the CC. My own address falls within the
Association Members group as a CC. I am thinking if I have gone over the
limitation OE6 should let me know?

OE has no such limitations. Your ISP, however, probably does. 50 is usual;
25 or less is not uncommon.
