Since three weeks I have a new computer with Vista Home Premium,
pre-installed. The first week the On-/off-button was red coloured and you
could shut-down the computer. Suddenly the colour was yellow and now I can
bring the computer in the mode Sleep. I tried to change the function of the
button with Control Panel/Energy management/Change the behaviour of the
On-/off-button. However, none of the options (Shut-down, Sleep, etc.)
changed the function of the button. That function is staying Sleep. I have
asked the manufacturer, Fujitsu Siemens, for a solution. Advice: total
re-install of Vista. Yes, I also can put the computer into the dust-bin and
buy a new one.., but for the time being I an seeking for a smarter solution.
Do you know such one?

You had the system running for 3 weeks without reinstalling? Wow!!
Call guiness!

Not joking now, all the Fujitsu i saw with pre installed Vista wore badly
configured; not enought space in C: drive was the biggest flaw in Fujitsu's
way of installation... none of them lasted more than 6 months

the amount of Alcohol in your system.
