Windows 7 is going RTM in latter July. General availability is set for
October 22.

The real question is: When will all of the hardware manufacturers have
device drivers ready? Or will their lack of timely response plague
Win7, as it did Vista?

Because it's really SP3 for Vista, a buggy and feature deprived OS
that should never have been released - or at least should be upgraded
to Win7 for free.

That may be your opinion but not one shared by very many people. Its not
an SP3 for Vista since SP2 for Vista came out long after Win7 was in
development and there are many changes from Vista.

Tho of course I'm probably wasting my time with the likes of you, no doubt.
