offers for downloads i already have

I receive windows critical notification update window on my screen and i go
into see what is new. Sometimes i get new updates shown and i download and
install and receive the message that it is installed ok. I checkthe
instalation history and it is there.
However, Within hours or a day or 2, it shows me updates that i have already
installed. sometimes only minutes before. I have tried restart and restart
again but still get the same thing happening again. Sometimes a few hours
later, other time s a day later.When i receive the updtes, i check the
instalation history and see that they are listed. What can i do to stop this
from re occuring.

What is the updates that this problem has occurred on.

Can you send me the windowsupdate log and the reportingevent.log.
