offfice Update

In try to install the new Office Updates but all will NOT install !
Always error message !
On the same day the Windows Updates install like always NO Problem !
Any soloution ?

Howdy Jarre,

What is / are the specific Error message(s) you get? and please always list the specific update(s) at issue.
Those bits of information plus your Windows version / service pack level. Same also for MS Office.
Without that information, saying "will not install" is not enough to go on.

I would suggest you try an alternative way to get your Office Updates:
Visit http://officeupdate.microsoft.com
Look for the block "Office Updates" with the option marked "Check for Updates".

The size of updates iz 0 KB... why??? A try to install them 3 or 4 times...

Hi

I have the exact same failures as Jarre with the 7 Office 2003 updates.

Whether I use the automatic update or manually try and install, all installs
fail.

Any attempt to reinstall also fails

Interestingly all XP updates on the same day did not fail. It is only the
office updates that are failing and yes it shows a byte size of 0kb

I am running XP with service pack 2 and it is right up to date.

My gut tells me that the updates are corrupt. Is there a way of deleting
what has been downloaded to force the whole process to start again?

this did noct help! wherever i try automaic or via Office Webside the
install will not go the XP updates on the same day work like noting ! Ihave
win XP whit SP2
office is 2003 whit all updates until this new ones !
KB 923088,923272,924424,923094,923095,923097 these dOnt install!

I delete catrrot2 and acitviate service OSE.exe and IT WORKS !!!!

Itink it was the service how bloc !
