Office 2003 & Windows Vista

Hi,

Got a slight problem, I installed Windows Vista, installed Office 2003,
installed all the latest updates. The problem occurs that everytime I load
Office 2003 applications I am asked whether I accept the licence (EULA).
There is no other major issues, just annoying having to press accept
everytime the application loads.

Matthew

Log in to Windows as Administrator, start an Office program, accept the
EULA, close the Office program, log out of Windows as Administrator, and
log back in to Windows using your normal user profile.

Cool; I went into the Office directory, right clicked on the word exe file,
loaded up as administrator, clicked accept, closed, then loaded it again as
normal user - all works nicely - thank you for the help :-) I'll add that to
my blog post :-)

Hello

I have the same exact problem with the user agreement pop-up.

I followed all the instructions as listed on the link below to change to
allow full control. I then started all my office software, clicked accept.

Now when I do to start Word, Excell and Outlook, I STILL get the agreement
pop-up. Why isnt it accepting?

I have done both methods as listed on that link. Both login under admin and
changing the registry via regedit32.

Funny thing is, I am the only user on the machine and I am set at admin
levels and it still doesnt accept the agreement.

think its time to upgrade to Office 2007??? but would that solve the
problem???

Am having trouble with other older versions of programs (i.e. adobe standard
6.0 doesnt allow printing from any program and have to use CUTE PDF to work
around that). but thats a cheap upgrade to Adobe 8.0

Nope. I have Office 2003 installed in my Vista system and everything works perfectly. ÄRepeat step 2 to step 4 for the other Office programs that still prompt you with the EULAÄ

This might be a registry permissions issue as far as I can see. We can work on this offline if you mail me on this.
