Office 2003 Auto Update

Although I have Office 2003 (SP3), I now use MS Office Home/Student 2007.
Auto Update keeps trying to install an SP 3 update to Office 2003--response
is that installation couldnt be complete and encounters Error Code ox779. Im
sick of this prompt to download.

I dont care about Office 2003. I dont use Outlook or any of the programs,
which were all trial programs anyway. Can I safely remove it w/o having an
effect on Home/Student 2007?? This constamt prompting to download SP3 is
driving me crazy.

So... Have you verified you have cleaned up all traces of Office 2003?

I'm having the same problem, kinda. I do use the office programs, but I have
tried, retried, & retried to update this GD thing with an error message every
time as a result! VERY frustrating! If anyone get's a "fix" to this
situtation, please email me? I'm sick and tired of being inturupted in my
daily use to "uodate" EVERY danf day!
