Then Office 2003.
Office 2003 --> Updates.

Find and select the Office 2003 SP1 released on 7/24/2004.

Save it to your computer and run it.

What application ? Details would help. Keep in mind this group is for issues with Windows Updates.
Otherwise, a more specific Windows group, or better, one geared for your "application" would be best.

Insert your Office 2003 installation CD and try again. It worked for me.
