Office 2003 Service Pack 2 UPDATE WITH ERROR

Like many others, I tried to download this update and every time gets the
same error... Someone knows what to do ??
Please help !!!

did anyone else need thier office 2003 cd's do to the windows installer
complaining of missing cab files?

I downloaded that but when I tried to install I still got errors. It said
that it could not update or access a registry key due to insufficiant
permissions, even though I am the only user and I am an
administrator........so I edited the permissions on the two keys that it said
were a problem (added "everyone" and gave full control) and the install went
smooth as ice!!!

I got the same problem: error 0x51F without any more info after applying the
automatic microsoft update.
Then I used the suggested link and used immediately the fullfile version,
but still the installer asks me for the original installation CD's because of
a missing cab-file. It is even not sufficient to insert the CD (first the
access, then the office CD) , you also have to browse to \FILES before the
installation can continue.

I selected Custom Install this morning and then un checked one of the
installs. The checked one installed correctly. I went back and selected
Custom Install again and the second one installed correctly. This after
trying the non-Custom over a dozen times.

I've tried both links and both ask for my original CD (which I have), but I
can't find the missing CAB file it's looking for. Any help would be greatly
appreciated.
