Office 2003 service pack 2 update fails

I have tried 8 times to install this and failed.
I have tried all the microsoft solutions I could find and found no reference
to Error Code" 0x530 It does not exist in any of their data bases.
So what the heck are microsoft playing at now. Typical microsoft S.N.A.F.U.

Double-click the Office2003SP2-KB887616-FullFile-ENU.exe at the very bottom
of the page.

This will install the update properly.

Been there and done that now it says "have not found the expected version"

After tryingh every thing and failed I rebooted an lo and behold I suddenly
was running sp2 on office. weird eh. Think that link worked some how even if
it did not find expected version .

The problem maybe to do with lack of disk space

Sorry "Al", all this file does on my system is keep attempting to install
every time I shut down. After about 10 minutes, the system finally shuts off.
Then the whole thing happens again, and again, and again. SP2 for Office is
having major issues.
