Office 2003 SP2 has disabled Outlook 2000

I'm running Office 2000 on my XP-SP2 system. Office 2003 was OEM installed
as a preview copy; I've never fully installed it. The latest Windows
Automatic update has installed Office 2003 Service Pack 2.
Now, when I open Outlook 2000 I cannot access my address book. Also, when I
try to open Word 2000, I get the "windows installer" dialog box; I cancel
that and get an error msg "Microsoft Word 9.0: an error occurred and this
feature is no longer functioning properly. Please run Setup and select
"Repair..." to restore this application.

Please help!

Break out your Office 2000 CD, open up an office application and do what it
said to...

Help --> Detect and Repair...

Did you recently install some free software? For instance SPAMfighter ?
if so , throw it out out and start again
Apparantly lots of people have the same problem, als with outlook 2003 and
outlook express
