Office will not update - error states that PRO11.MSI cannot be found.
Also mentioned that the network resourse is unavailable. This is a stand
alone laptop.
This is an OEM install (Office 2003 Pro) by me from a legal purchase as a
stand alone product. In fact, I have the disk inserted and have searched for
the missing file with no luck.
This product is installed on my new (11.05) laptop and shared with no other
pc's.
Windows validates this install too.
I have searched MS's site for the file with the same results as searching
the cd - not found.
Any guidance from those in the know would be most appreciated.

Locate missing .msi files
http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/as...185721033.aspx

This problem may occur if one of the following conditions is true: • Source files in the
C:\MSOCache\All Users\90000409-6000-11D3-8CFE-0150048383C9 folder are missing.
• The MSOCache folder has been deleted.
• There is a problem with the Local Installation Source (LIS) for the program.

Try installing the updates with your Office CD in the CD drive.
or
Download the full update from the MS Update site and see if you can install it.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en
or
You may have to repair/reinstall your Office 2003 software - make sure you have your Product
Code/Key etc to enable reinstallation and activation if required.
