Office 2003 Update fails to install

Update for Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter (KB957257) and
Security Update for Microsoft Office Excel 2003 (KB955466) both
failed...repeatedly.

Why is it so darn difficult to get just a simple question answered, all I
would like is a solution that works and is easy to follow, sure hope Windows
7 is easier. Thank you

You do realize that *both* of those updates have been superseded and
there's no need to install them ?

The Office Outlook 2003 Junk Email Filter is updated *monthly*.

The Security Update for MS Office Excel 2003 was replaced in December,
2008, Apr 14, 2009 , Jun 9, 2009, and Nov 11, 2009.

Perhaps that's why there is no simple answer to your not simple
question. You can download the latest Security update for MS Office
Excel 2003 from the below link:
