Office 2003 Updates -- getting 0x80070643 error

Help! None of the newest 7 Office 2003 Updates will install due to a
0x80070643 error message. What does this error message mean? What can I do
to get it successfully installed? Thanks in advance!

Hi Daddy Rabbit, I did all the steps but it is still not workiing, haven't
got a clue what to do

I have the same problem. Article did not help me either :-(

This is my experience. I am putting here hoping it will save somebody's time
and headache.
To make it short, I gave up and was about to completley uninstall and
reinstall Office 2003.
I have the Resource Kit installed. So I said to myself why not try
uninstalling and reinstalling it first.
Guess what, I did and it worked.
No problem at all.

I reported a few days ago despair after several weeks of failure to install a
series of updates with the above error message. Following up a suggestion
that this was due to a missing Office install file (SKU011.cab), I decided to
uninstall and reinstall Office. Eh voila, problem solved and all updates now
installed.
