Office 2003 updates will not install

I have Office 2003 running on Vista Ultimate. There are several updates that
download (especially for Outlook) but they will not install – I have had to
“hide� them so the pc does not continually try (without success) to install
them again and again

download the service pack 3 for office 2003 and install it

this will bring office up to date, see download link below

Fred thanks but this link is for SP3 covering Office XP and 2002 - mine is
Office 2003 (with SP2) which appears not to be covered

ok mistake, but there IS a service pack 2 for office2003 , I mixed up the
numbers...

Thanks - there is a recently released (Sept 07) SP3 for Office 2003. I
downloaded it but tried to install and got the message "Update cannot be
applied" - any ideas how to fix this please?
