office 2007 files and acounts from disk image to new install of office 2007.

Great Thanks to Rive and SIW2 for your excellent help. Got vista loaded
and running on new MOBO. Just have to contact ACER and ask for
reactivation( crossing fingers...and toes! ).

New Question.

I have an image of the original install of vista before my mobo
crashed. I want to get my old mail documents and account settings to my
new install of office 2007.

Is there a way to get all that stuff imported or did I lose those
e-mails :cry: and have to re-setup my e-mail accounts?

Whilst you can copy the pst data files to some convenient location, eg
Documents folder, then open them within OL, you cannot copy account
settings.

Whether, or not, you can get at the files you need that are contained in a
disk image would depend upon the capabilities of the program you used to
create the image.

TrueImage will allow you to do what you want with an image created from
their program.
