Office 2007 suite SP2 update Error Code: 0x8024002D in Windows XP

I tried many times and everytime the same update Error Code: 0x8024002D for
Office 2007 suite SP2 in my PC with Windows XP SP3. I have IE8 installed
prior to that.

0x8024002D = a full-file patch failed because the source was required

Known issues that you may experience when you install the 2007 Microsoft
Office suite Service Pack 2 [and/or] Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 Service

1. Insert your Office 2007 CD into the appropriate drive bay & try again.

2. Download & manually install Office SP2:

3. Repair or Reinstall Office 2007 then try again.
