Office 2007 Updates won't install

Hey all,

I am using Altiris to deploy Microsoft Office 2007. It will install the
software of Office 2007 and the updates are downloaded onto the computer, but
once we open Office it says that the updates will have to be installed in
order for the computer to use the program. I have followed what it says what
to do off of technet:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...2(printer.aspx and also
from http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/l...(printer).aspx.

After following the steps in those two documents, it won't install the
updates.

What should i do?

O I forgot, we are trying to install it onto XP OS.

How to troubleshoot failures updating your Office installation from the
Office Update Web site:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304498

Tip: Insert your Office 2007 CD into the appropriate drive bay before
attempting to install the updates again.

You haven't advised us of any error messages
