Yep, I know. This is a "Vista" newsgroup in theory but not in practice.
Lots of us have also helped with hundreds of Office questions here, and
questions for just about any other software MSFT makes over the last year
plus.

The Office 2007 SP1 apps are available:

The Main Office 2007 SP1 is here:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

and these are also available for download at the MSFT downloads site.
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/r...DisplayLang=en

Visio 2007 Service Pack 1
Project 2007 Service Pack 1
Microsoft Office Visio Language Pack 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Microsoft Office Project Language Pack 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer Language Pack 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
The 2007 Microsoft Office Servers Language Pack Service Pack 1 (SP1), 64-Bit
Edition
Microsoft Office Visio Viewer 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
The 2007 Microsoft Office Servers Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Microsoft Office SharePoint Designer 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Microsoft Office Proofing Tools 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Microsoft Office InterConnect 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Microsoft Office Language Pack 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
Calendar Printing Assistant for Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 Service Pack 1
(SP1)

They aren't listed up front and I had to do some digging for the rest of
them, but hey it wouldn't be MSFT if they were all listed as new and current
downloads on the downloads site, would it?

Have fun.

Not to mention Ubuntu which updates *everything* for the OS or Open
Office with a couple of clicks and you don't need to go digging anywhere
like you just did.

One click.. wait a bit.. enter password and click again.. wait a bit.. now
click again.. wait forever.. whoa!! why is it asking me to check again? Oh
well, time to turn it off and get some real computing done on the Vista
machine.. :-)

I guess you failed to read exactly what Chad said.

Updates with Ubuntu are MUCH easier and smoother than Windows Updates
ever was, are or will be. And don't come back with the auto update being
easy, please.

Vista auto updates without the need for any intervention. The only mouse
click required is if the user wants optional updates. If you had Vista, you
would know this already..

Vista *should autoupdate, but it doesn't always autoupdate, and sometimes
autoupdates fail after prompting you to install them. I have one that
doesn't install and sent the log to the update team @ MSFT. The cmd remedy
for it's error message doesn't work either. To me that particular update is
not all that crucial though.

I also haven't seen Office SP1 Updates available today yet via autoupdate,
and some updates may be gotten in advance of when they are offered that way.
It depends on the user's need I guess.
