Office plugin for OUTLOOK ceases function after install of jan upd

After installing the Jan OFFICE PRO Edition 2003 patches, the office plugins
to OUTLOOK have ceased to function. Although I can select the FILE-SEND TO -
Mail recipient (As attachment) option from WORD, EXCEL, etc. and the separate
outlook window is launched, when the SEND button is depressed, nothing
happens. The window just sits there. This occurred after installing Office
2003 Service PACK 2(SP2) MAINSPOP, UPDATE for OFFICE 2003 (KB907417) and
Security UPDATE for OUTLOOK 2003 (KB892843). Has anyone else experienced
this? Is there a fix for this? Some of my fellow workers have also
experienced this problem.
