I bought Office Professional 2007 from a Web-Site. When it arrived at
my home, I noticed that it's labeled for "Academic Use Only". I am
neither a teacher nor a student. My questions is: Can I install this
software in my home computer without violating Microsoft's EULA?:sarc:

No. I'm surprised the shop sold you this without requesting you to confirm
you're a teacher or student. You should return the suite, and get an
ordinary license. It will cost more though (unless they just mailed you the
wrong box, of course).

I'm not positive, but I think Microsoft has recently changed its academic
package to be for 'home and student'.

I could be wrong, so check it out.

If it's labeled "Academic Use" then the only proper use is if you are a
full-time or part-time student at an accredited learning institution.
That's almost certainly why it was sold so cheaply and online only.

Hope you paid the Academic price when you purchased it. Go ahead and
install it. The Microsoft police won't be knocking down your door and
hauling you to jail. No biggie!

Contact the sellers.
Office Professional contains many more programs than Student version, and
costs a lot more.
You have been ripped off!

Do not confuse "For Academic Use Only" and the Student and Teacher
edition of Office, they are not the same.
Office Professional is available from some institutions.
