Office sp pack 2

I have downloaded Office SP2 from Microsoft Update but this will not install
on my PC. The security centre keeps advising me that I have updates to
install. I try to install and then after a few minutes get the message that
updates did not install. Any help would be appreciated.

Is your antivirus auto scan enabled when you try to install? If so, disable
it and see if it doesn't work.

I'm having the same problem on both my XP PRO and WIN2000 machines. The
update continues to fail. I turned off Mcafee and tried it again. Failed
again. When I check update history and click on the failed icon, the link
doesn't work that supposed to explain the error. Any other suggestions?
