I'm so mad I could spit.
I just had to reinstall Office 2003 and was asked if I wanted to go to the
Web for updates and of course I said yes. After surfing most all of Microsoft
I found a page that haD A LINK:
Use the Microsoft Update or Office Update detection Web sites (recommended).
Both sites automatically detect Office and prompt you to install updates and
service packs that bring Office programs up-to-date.
Well I went to the link for office updates and the only thing I can find to
detect updates takes me to the windows update page. Where the hang to I find
the automatic update detector for office 2003. I'm 'bout to tear my hair out.
Thanx
Jerry

On my Vista HP 32 systems Windows Update includes updates for Office 2003 as
well.

Microsoft Update provides updates for Office 2003. Office Update no longer
exists, if I remember correctly.

Harry.

I am also having significant problems with Microsoft Update - every time I
try to install in order to update my reinstall of Office 2003, I get the
following error:

The instruction at "0x068b0068" referenced memory at "0x068b0068". The
memory could not be "written".

The details state that there is a problem with the "Data Execution
Prevention" security feature, though I have tried everything in the knowledge
base with no affect on the error, including adjusting security and firewall
settings.
