When I attemt to download/install update, I recieve error 0x51F
I finally found out that I had to download List001.exe program.
When I run it, I am asked where I which it to be placed. Never saw that
before, thus do not know the answer.

Update to first message: Put in Office CD, as per some suggestions. In my
case, this did not work.

Try repairing your installation of Office 2003

Method 1 – Open Word, go to Help – Select Detect and Repair

Method 2 -

1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. Click Add or Remove Programs.
3. Click the Office 2003 program that you want to repair, and then click Change.
4. In the Maintenance Mode Options dialog box, click Reinstall or Repair, and then
click Next.
5. In the Reinstall or Repair Office dialog box, click Detect and Repair errors in my
Office installation, and then click Install.
6. When the repair process is finished, run the update again.

Most likely you will need to have your Office 2003 CD handy.

Am now in the middle of the 3 step 'fix': Did repair, and am now downloading
the whole file. If that does not work, then will then download LIST and run
it.

Only had to do two steps. Repair and manual download of whole file.
This has been the oddest, hardest update download I have ever done, and I
have been on line for awhile. Beta tested MSN......
