Office on windows update list when I DONT RUN OFFICE WHY?

I ran Windows Update today and it listed some MS Office components for
updating, thing is, I DONT USE MS OFFICE. I have OpenOffice installed.

WHY? Is windows update UNRELIABLE? Seems that way if it cannot detect
the CORRECT updates to install. I for one have now put a block on it on
all machines until it can select the correct patches, god knows what its
going to install next.
