I have Vista Ultimate on my desk top. I hate to buy a new version of Office
now. Will my trusty Office XP Pro run ok in Vista? thanks...so far I have
been impressed with the speed and features of Vista. I had heard a lot of bad
talk. I am glad I tried it!

Yes, but be sure to apply all the service packs and updates.

Outlook will not retain your passwords for your email accounts.
You will to reenter them each time you start Outlook. The only
workaround is to keep outlook open for as long as you can.

Also, install the Office 2007 Compatibility Pack.

Hi Gordon. Are you looking to use outlook? If you are, try installing
office XP in a folder you create "c:\Microsoft office" or something
similar. The main point is to install it outside of the program files
directory. I did this with office XP and it works much better than it
did when installed in the program files directory. Post back and let us
know how it works for you.
