Office XP Service Pack 3 Failed to Install

I have tried numerous times to install Office XP Service Pack 3 and each time
it has failed. I follow the prompt that instructs you..... that if the
update failed to install, click the "Failed" icon to learn how to solve the
problem. This also failes and I receive no additional info or error codes.
Office XP is installed on my computer but I cannot get Service Pack 3 to
install.

I'm having the same problem can you help me please

I am also having the same problem. Have tried 3 times now... the file it is
requesting from my Office disc is found - it appears to be finishing the
update and then just says failed. Have tried downloading the files instead
of using the disc - same problem occurs. (I had the same problem with SP2 for
office - can't remember if that ever installed properly!.... don't know if
this makes a difference)
