Office XP SP3 Fail

I run Windows Office XP. Windows Service Pack 3 was recently automatically
downloaded. It won't complete installation. Tells me it can't find file
STD.MSI and "The feature you are trying to use is on a CD ROM or other
removable disk that is not available".
I by an old used LapTop without any CD.
Where can I get the required file STD.MSI?

You mean you run Microsoft Office XP and Microsoft Office XP SP3 was
recently offered to you...?
(There is no Windows Office XP nor is there any publically released Windows
XP SP3...)

Tried getting the stand-alone installer?

Released way back on 3/30/2004. What I suggest is that you download from
the above link the "OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-fullfile-enu.exe" file and save it
to your desktop. (57.5MB - not 16MB!) Try running it.

(It states, on that page, "OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-fullfile-enu.exe: Download
this file if you do not have access to your installation source...")

I had no problem with the installation Office 2003 Service Pack 3
(SP3):MAINSP3.
