office xp sp3 need help

my update stops and looks for a file containing pro plan but wont auto find,
help!

Office XP Sp3 needs either the original CD in the CD drive or have all the
installations files installed on the system.

Do you have the original CD?

no I don't have the original cd
why would they offer the download if it's not complete?

It depends on the version you downloaded. When I updated Office XP to SP3,
I was given a choice.
DId I have the original CD or not. If you say you have the original CD,
then it expects to have access to it.
If you don't, then it will downaload the complete package.

Are you installing from officeupdate.microsoft.com? Did you download from
there?

The download is complete, you just need the CD for some updates..

You need to get the Office CD and keep it nearby.
Sooner or later you will need the CD.

no i don't have the cd mycd rom doesn't work my services were installed on
the web.
