Office XP update

Trying to update Office XP to SP3. Asks for disk. Insert original disk. It
can't find a "PRO.MCI" file. So, no update is possible. Any ideas?

You mean PRO.MSI, right?
If it is asking for PRO.MCI - I'd question the validity of the update.

You are inserting the stand alone CD for Microsoft Office XP - not Windows
XP, right?
(Have to ask - standard list of questions.)
Is it looking to the CD at all?
Does it let you specify the path?
Is that the CD you installed Office from?
