Office03 SP2 Error 0x530

Downloaded and attempted installation. Put in CD when requested. CD is
spinning but eventually comes back and says installation has failed. The
error message "0x530" is the only thing I can find to give some indication of
what went wrong. Any suggestions? thx.

Download and install SP3 directly. Download the "Full File" titled:
OfficeXpSp3-kb832671-fulefile-enu.exe (58925 KB).

I am getting the same error. I fail to see how installing Office XP SP3 will
resolve Office 2003 SP2 installation issue

Carey, Thanks. I actually run Office 03 and your link was to Office XP. Was
able to find the Office 03 download and ran the "Full File" which worked.

Installed the full office sp2
Put CD office Professioal CD system keeps asking for a Front page file
CS561401.cab
It can't find
did search on office cd no such file any suggestions

I'm having the same problem with my Office 2003 SP2 install from the
Microsoft Update site. Carey, can you provide us all with the proper way to
correct Error 0x053 when attempting to install Office 2003 SP2?
