Offline messsenger on Msn or messenger

How do I get this to work as I can receive offline messages on logging but
can't send them to anyone in my contact lists..

To be clear, you can receive on MSN Messenger 7.5 but you can't send them. If you're using
Windows Live Messenger then all you have to do is open up a conversation window to someone,
type a message and send as per normal.

Occasionally the Offline IM service is down and you'll get a message that it couldn't be
delivered, in which case you simply have to try again later or send e-mail instead.
