I am really getting fustrated with the lack of a Messenger Change log.

Its been all the time, but more often recently with the change over to the
whole Live way of Microsoft.
I keep getting surprised with notifications regarding updates to Live
Messenger. So I click the "What's New" button, and it opens up a website, and
low and behold, no change listing. Nothing. Just a link to download the new
messenger, which for all I could know, has implemented a change in the way
something is done, or the like, and yet I won't be able to find out about it!

Can you big microsoft people create a page or even a frame at the bottom of
the page just listing the changes so that I may justify downloading version
upon version of Live Messenger?

Greetings,

Actually, back in MSN Messenger 3.6 and below days, the What's New button would take you to a
nice changelog. It wasn't that detailed as you get in smaller third party software but it
was reasonable.

Unfortunately in this day and age, Microsoft marketing has decided against such things as a
corporate policy. They'll do "new features" for major versions and obscuated mentions in
security updates, but that's about it. As such until this entire company-wide policy
changes, you won't be seeing one for Messenger.
