Old games

I have some old games that will not run on Vista, they need to run in full
screen DOS mode. Is there a fix or should I forget them?

Not likely to get them to work.

I'd run them on a 486 or P-1


BTW: Some of the old DOS games depend on timing loops and may not work on a
faster CPU anyway

Download Dosbox from www.dosbox.com. I use it to run
old DOS games, full screen in Vista Ultimate 64. The original
Castle Wolfenstein runs great with it. It even emulates the
original ISA Soundblaster, and plays sound effects missing
since the demise of the ISA bus.

I play XCom Terror from the deep on dosbox and it also runs great. It really
is a great program.

Yes, DOSBOX is definately the way to go.
