I'm afraid the processing for the What's new section is done on the server-side. I know your
next question is why-- one reason is so that when you sign in you have info. As such, it
shows out-of-date information on a regular basis.
There isn't anything you can do to "clear" what other people are seeing. If you put
something in your PSM for instance, even if you clear it or change it something else, the
what's new section will probably still show it for awhile -- especially if your contact
doesn't have that many contacts.
