old problem, new thread, mmc snap in for performance monitor

Hi There
In the Reliability and Performance Monitor when I click on PERFORMANCE
MONITOR I get this message "MMC could not initialize the snap in".
Done all the checks, whistles and bangs for errors etc. but no joy.
Everything else is working except the PERFORMANCE MONITOR graph.
Any suggestions?
