Old updates that were never installed

I have checked my update history and found a few, very old, updates that
never made it. I don't know if the automatic update takes care of those
after the fact, or if these critical updates need to be installed manually by
the user.

Some of the updates are at least two years old. Should I even be concerned?
The updates pertain to Windows XP.

By the way, I had a bootleg copy of XP and got it authenticated a while
back, which may explain some of the problem. Hopefully, I won't need to go
back through everything...

If you run a manual update any required updates will show

Thanks, DL! I figured that it would make sense that the check would include
old available updates, and not just the new ones. I appreciate you clearing
that up for me.
